Terms of Use

1.1 Binding Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Axiom prediction market platform, axiomprotocol.io, app.axiomprotocol.io, and all associated sites, Axiom Prime and Axiom Theorem smart contracts, and all content, interfaces, documentation, tools, and related services.

1.2 Eligibility Requirements

To use Axiom, you represent and warrant that you:

• are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction),
• have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements,
• are not prohibited from using prediction markets or blockchain-based services under applicable laws,
• are not accessing Axiom from a sanctioned or restricted region,
• will comply with all applicable laws.

If using Axiom on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that entity.

1.3 Updates to Terms

Axiom may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting, with the "Last Updated" date adjusted. Continued use of Axiom after changes constitutes acceptance.

2.1 Prediction Market Platform

Axiom is a decentralized prediction market built on the XRPL EVM Sidechain. Users may trade outcome tokens on event markets. As described in the Axiom Whitepaper:

• Axiom Theorem powers markets and decentralized resolution.
• Axiom Prime powers staking, yield, and stake-weighted governance.

Axiom does not custody user funds. All interactions occur through your self-custody wallet.

2.2 No Advice or Brokerage Services

Axiom is not:

• a broker or exchange,
• a custodian or money transmitter,
• an investment, tax, or legal advisor,
• a gambling operator.

Axiom does not provide recommendations or guarantees.

2.3 Decentralized Infrastructure Disclaimer

Axiom uses public, permissionless smart contracts. Use of these contracts is entirely at your own risk.

3.1 Compliance With Laws

You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding:

• prediction markets,
• blockchain and digital assets,
• taxation,
• AML/CTF regulations.

3.2 Wallet Ownership

You must only use wallets you control. You are responsible for safeguarding keys and recovery phrases. Axiom cannot recover access or reverse on-chain transactions.

3.3 Accuracy of Information

Any information or evidence you submit must be complete and truthful.

4.1 Staking Through Axiom Prime

Staking XRP or RLUSD into Axiom Prime grants:

• non-transferable share tokens representing governance weight,
• potential yield from market commissions and penalties,
• exposure to penalties or rewards during governance participation.

Governance operations may temporarily lock your stake.

4.2 Market Trading Through Axiom Theorem

When trading outcome tokens:

• trades settle directly against smart contracts,
• pricing is algorithmic or orderbook-based,
• trading risks are solely your responsibility.

Market outcomes are determined via decentralized governance.

4.3 Resolution and Governance Risk

You acknowledge markets may resolve through:

• optimistic (unchallenged) proposals,
• challenged resolutions and voting,
• escalated full-staker votes,
• invalid/no-contest outcomes.

All resolution results are final and not subject to appeal.

5.1 Ownership

All design, branding, content, trademarks, and documentation are owned by Axiom Protocol or its licensors.

5.2 Limited License

Axiom grants you a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Platform. You may not:

• reproduce or redistribute materials,
• create derivative works,
• reverse engineer proprietary components,
• modify or remove notices.

5.3 User-Generated Content

Content you submit remains owned by you, but you grant Axiom a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for platform operations.

9.1 "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE"

Axiom is provided without warranties of any kind, including uninterrupted access, error-free smart contracts, accurate data or pricing, or financial results.

9.2 Blockchain Risk Disclaimers

You acknowledge risks including smart contract bugs, chain congestion, price volatility, and governance penalties.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Axiom is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits or lost digital assets, governance penalties, or errors in market resolution or data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the lesser of USD $50, or the amount you paid to Axiom in the past 12 months (if any).

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction], excluding conflict-of-law principles.

11.2 Informal Resolution

Before initiating a dispute, you agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting: contact@gen3games.com. A 30-day resolution period applies.

11.3 Binding Arbitration

11.4 Injunctive Relief

Axiom may seek injunctive relief for IP infringement, unauthorized access, or irreparable harm.

12.2 Termination by User

You may discontinue use at any time. On-chain actions remain irreversible, and governance penalties remain enforceable.
